Handle drop
Measure shoulder clearance with the coat you wear most. A handle attached near the center can hang differently from one anchored at the edges, even when the bags have similar dimensions.
Closures
A zip contains small pieces. A flap can give quicker access. Think about the item you use most and count the steps it takes to reach it.
